Poll finds 80% of partners supporting law firm transparency, but divided over impact on competitiveness

Commercial lawyers are firmly behind the increasing transparency of the UK legal profession, according to new research, with four out of five supporting the policy of law firms publishing their financial results.
The latest Legal Week/ EJ Legal Big Question survey found that 80% of a panel of more than 100 senior lawyers approve of UK firms revealing details of business performance, against 20% who did not.
