Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has set a mid-September deadline for senior partner candidates to put their names forward for the post, with the magic circle firm taking the unusual step of reviewing the applicants before deciding whether to ditch its dual head model.
The process, which is being led by corporate partner Guy Morton, will see Fresh-fields partners put forward nominations in the coming weeks before the firm reviews the candidates at a partners’ meeting in Paris on 7-8 October, with a final vote earmarked for November.
