Denton Wilde Sapte has unveiled a set of disappointing financial results, with equity partner profits down by 14% from £325,000 in 2003-04 to £279,000 and turnover down by 11% to £154m. Net profit at the 168-partner firm came in at £29m.

The results round off a year of upheaval for Dentons, which saw a host of partners leave. In January this year five insurance partners quit for the City arm of New York firm, Chadbourne & Parke, while an 11-partner technology and media team joined DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary in the spring.
