Weil Gotshal & Manges and Eversheds have taken the lead roles on Premier Foods’ £172m acquisition of Marlow Foods, the manufacturer and distributor of Quorn branded products.
The deal closed on 6 June and sees Premier acquire the company from Montagu Private Equity. Weil Gotshal advised Premier, led by corporate partner Ian Hamilton. Finance partner Richard Ginsburg and associates Gudrun Steele and Des Peters also advised.
