Baker & McKenzie’s high profile former chief Christine Lagarde has quit the US-based giant to become the French Government’s foreign trade minister.
Lagarde, who became a partner at the firm’s Paris office in 1987, was chosen by French President Jacques Chirac to succeed Francois Loos in the position last week.
