Herbies and Slaughters bag £2bn insurance merger

Herbert Smith and Slaughter and May have taken the lead roles on the £2bn merger between insurance companies Britannic and Resolution.

The deal, announced today (9 June), will see the companies create a new group controlling more than £40bn of assets.
