Shearman & Sterling and CMS Cameron McKenna have advised on the £202m acquisition of pub operator Yates Group, as the pub sector continues to provide firms with a string of M&A transactions.
Shearman advised the acquisition vehicle of Iranian property tycoon Robert Tchenguiz on its purchase of the Yates Group, which is the operator of outlets including the Yates Wine Lodge pub chain and Santa Fe restaurants.
