Firms support City giant's pro bono initiative despite a lack of consensus for common UK standards

Allen & Overy’s (A&O’s) drive to persuade City firms to donate interest from client accounts to charity can count on substantial support, despite research showing there is little consensus for common UK pro bono standards.
The latest Legal Week/ EJ Legal Big Question poll found that 65% of respondents supported A&O’s initiative, which will see additional interest from consolidated client accounts donated to the London Legal Support Trust.
