Perkins Coie’s Beijing managing partner, Jon Eichelberger, has quit to rejoin Baker & McKenzie, leaving the Seattle-based US firm’s depleted Asia practice with no lawyers in its China branch.
The corporate and tax specialist was the only remaining partner in Perkins’ Beijing office before he returned to Bakers’ 14-lawyer local arm on 1 April, five years after he quit for the Seattle firm.
