The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has been in the wars of late, given the drubbing it received from the Financial Services and Markets Tribunal over its investigation into Legal & General for mis-selling.
So the FSA will be pleasantly surprised by the endorsement it receives from the general counsel who took part in the Legal Week Benchmarker survey on financial services regulation, published this week.
