Kroll Ontrack, the electronic litigation support vendor, is set to launch an electronic discovery tool for law firms.
The new product, EDV (Electronic Data Viewer), is an online system designed to “bridge the traditional paper-based disclo-sure process with the emerging e-discovery industry,” claims the company. Kroll says EDV, to be launched in the UK in February, “will retain the familiar appearance of documents, while making the review and production process quicker, easier and more cost-efficient”.
