All companies have computer systems, dealing with the sending and receiving of vast amounts of data. As a result, the potential for disclosure to be more than usually problematic has grown.
Reflecting this, the disclosure rules (Rule 31.4 of the civil procedure rules) confirm that ‘document’ in this context means “anything in which information of any description is recorded”.
