Sonya Leydecker is set to be named as the new head of Herbert Smith’s market-leading litigation practice, with the partner set to be confirmed in the role before the end of the year.
Leydecker became a partner in 1991 and has been acting as deputy to current litigation chief David Gold since his election as the firm’s new senior partner in October.
