Sullivan & Cromwell is gearing up for a fully-fledged move into the UK M&A market, the firm has indicated, as it emerges the Wall Street leader has promoted another UK-qualified partner to its partnership.
The firm last week voted to promote UK corporate and project finance associate Craig Jones to its partnership from 1 January – a move the firm says precedes a broader push into the UK corporate sector.
