Norton Rose has scooped another instruction from Royal London Private Equity (RLPE) after advising on the high-profile £33.5m management buy-out of a chain of music venues, including the Brixton Academy.
The deal saw RLPE take a 52% stake in the venue operator McKenzie Group, which owns the Carling Brixton Academy and the Shepherd’s Bush Empire, in addition to Academy-branded venues in Birmingham, Bristol, Liverpool and Glasgow.
