How far will external advisers go to make sure they do not lose a client? A recent survey by Thompson Search put the spotlight on the work of client relationship partners – how often they meet with them, what they think is the best way of maintaining good relations and where they receive their instructions from.
The survey covered five main areas: developing client relationships, working with in-house lawyers, pricing, service levels and entertainment. Thompson Search polled 48 partners responsible for client contact.
