The battle over legal privilege between BCCI’s creditors and the Bank of England kicked off this week in the House of Lords in what promises to be one of the most closely watched rulings for the UK legal profession.
The judgment is expected to clarify where the courts stand on the issue of legal privilege following recent rulings by the High Court and the Court of Appeal that have dramatically reduced its scope.
