Baker & McKenzie has secured a haul of 12 partners from Ernst & Young’s arm in Mexico in a major boost to the international giant’s Latin American practice. The team, from Mancera Ernst & Young, has joined Bakers’ tax group in Mexico under the lead of Moises Curiel. Seven partners are joining Bakers’ Mexico City arm: Curiel, Jesus Alvarado, Emilio Angeles, Koen Van’t Heck, Hector Reyes, Jaime Rojas and Rodolfo Sanchez.

A further five partners are joining offices in Guadalajara, Juarez, Chihuahua City and Monterrey.
