Garrigues is to merge with its Portuguese ally Leonidas Matos & Associados after winning backing from the local bar – becoming the latest Spanish giant to forge a pan-Iberian practice.
The 1,200-lawyer Spanish firm had its application to open in the country approved last week (16 July) and will see Garrigues integrate the practice before the end of the year.
