Northwest firms sew up clothing buy-out

A brace of northwest firms have acted on the £122m management buy-out of Liverpool based discount clothes shop Ethel Austin – taking lead roles on one of the largest regional buy-outs for years.

The Manchester arm of Eversheds acted for the management, with Hill Dickinson acting for the Austin family and DLA’s Manchester arm advising regular client Lloyds TSB Development Capital (LDC).
