Edinburgh-based firms make transition to LLP status in Scottish top 10 first

Major Edinburgh-based firms Tods Murray and Brodies have become the first top 10 Scottish firms to become limited liability partnerships (LLPs).
Tods, which has 40 partners, and Brodies, which has 36 partners, are the two largest firms in Scotland so far to make the move, and their decision is likely to be replicated by even larger firms in the near future, according to those in the market.
