The magic circle have drafted in their most senior lawyers to forge responses to the Clementi review of legal services in the clearest indication yet that top London firms are determined to win key strategic reforms from the process.
In a highly unusual move Allen & Overy, Linklaters, Clifford Chance and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer have all fielded teams headed by either their senior or managing partners to respond to the review. (1 April)
