Clifford Chance (CC) has moved to bolster its New York arm with the appointment of Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw partner Stuart Strauss as the magic circle firm attempts to reverse the flow of partners quitting its US base.
Strauss, who specialises in acting for registered funds, becomes a partner in the corporate finance group and CC’s 83rd partner in its New York arm.
