Piper Rudnick has announced healthy growth in both profits and turnover for 2003 as the top 50 US firm continues its search for a UK law launch.

The national US firm, which has more than 200 equity partners and is best known for its litigation and real estate practices, told Legal Week its total revenue had risen by 10.3% to $502m (£279m) with average profits up approximately 10% to $742,500 (£412,500).
