Allen & Overy (A&O) has settled a high profile victimisation claim brought against it by Asian project manager Shazia Wahab in what is believed to be the first discrimination ruling against a magic circle firm.
Although the terms of the settlement are confidential Legal Week understands that a pay-out was agreed shortly before damages were due to be assessed at a separate hearing in January.
