Top City and national law firms are retaining the vast majority of their trainees after qualification despite the economic slowdown, research for the Legal Week Student Special has revealed.
City giants Allen & Overy, Clifford Chance, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Herbert Smith and Slaughter and May and national firm DLA all took on more than 90% of their trainees.
