The Government has announced a radical overhaul of legal services regulation that could see major changes to the way law is practised.
The pro-competition slant of the review was confirmed with the Department of Constitutional Affairs (DCA) pledging to speed up the introduction of multi-disciplinary partnerships (MDPs) and create an over-arching regulator for the profession.
