One of the leading duo of Polish independents that remain in this young market – the other being Soltysinski Kawecki & Szlezak – Wardynski & Partners was founded in 1992. Originally a four-partner firm, it has now grown to nine partners and 64 fee earners. The firm broke out of its home market in 2001, opening a Brussels office, which this year it opted to share with Czech and Slovak firms, Kocian Solc Balastik and Cechova Rakovsky, with the aim of pooling resources in the European Union (EU) capital.

Tomasz Wardynski says his firm’s independence brings it a raft of benefits, adding that it would be impossible for the firm to become dependent on a binding international network, as the move would lose it most of its clientele.
