Sidley Austin Brown & Wood’s vice chairman, Thomas Smith, is to stand down from his management role next month as the US giant loses one of its most influential managerial figures.
Smith, who is vice chairman and a member of the firm’s 10-member management committee, will leave his position in September after two years in the role.
