Linklaters has confirmed that its managing partner Tony Angel has been re-appointed for a second term of office with the leading London firm. Angel, who has been firm-wide managing partner since November 1998, will continue in the role until June 2007. “My first term has been enjoyable and challenging,” Angel said. “I am determined to leave the firm in an even stronger position at the end of my second term.” Angel had been widely tipped to be returned for a second term when the selection process kicked off earlier this year.
