The Law Society Commerce & Industry (C&I) Group has announced an ambitious plan to extend its membership to all in-house lawyers in a bid to increase its resources and act as an effective voice for the in-house community in the UK.
In a radical shake-up of its structure, which will see it loosen its ties to Chancery Lane, the C&I Group plans to extend its membership to include anyone working in a legal capacity in-house – solicitor, barrister, legal executive or paralegal.
