Hess unveiled as Shell's new global head of legal

Royal Dutch Shell Group has hired ABB general counsel Beat Hess as its new global head of legal to replace the retiring Pieter Folmer.

Hess, who was previously ABB’s general counsel and group secretary, will take responsibility for the entire legal function from 16 June, succeeding Folmer, who announced he is to retire in December. He will be based in The Hague.
