Leading lawyers have lined up behind the senior judiciary in attacking the Government’s controversial drive to make the civil courts self-funding.
A resounding 72% of the respondents to this week’s Legal Week/EJ Legal survey of more than 100 partners said they opposed a policy that was recently described as “totally misconceived” by the Lord Chief Justice, Lord Woolf.
