US IP specialist Howrey Simon Arnold & White has launched a local law practice in Amsterdam after hiring two senior IP partners from Linklaters’ former Dutch ally De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek.
The partners are patent specialists Willem Hoyng – one of De Brauw’s top IP lawyers – and Bart van den Broek, and hand the US firm its third European branch, after London and Brussels.
