In our editorial last week, we suggested that partners should resist the temptation to sit on the boards of companies that are clients of their firms, while existing non-executives should seriously consider stepping down.
It would seem that most partners agree.
Fifty-nine per cent of the Big Question’s panel of 100 senior business lawyers said they did not believe partners should become non-executives of companies that are clients of their firm.
