Common law is stealing a march in continental Europe with new research showing over one-third of European corporate counsel now favour English or US law for multi-jurisdictional transactions.
But European corporate counsel are still resistant to using a single global firm, with less that one-fifth preferring to use a one-stop-shop firm for cross-border transactions.
