Magistrates’ refusal to allow pubs to open their doors for early World Cup matches is another example of how the judiciary is out of touch.
On Sunday 2 June, England open their World Cup campaign against Sweden. This takes place in Japan, but time differences mean kick-off is at 10.30am in this country. Sunday licensing hours commence at midday.
