Canary Wharf pioneer Skaddens doubles its capacity with new Docklands office as firm anticipates growth

Top New York firm Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom has signed a deal with Canary Wharf to take 140,000 sq ft of office space with an option for a further 40,000 sq ft in a new tower that is currently under construction.
The tenancy, which is expected to cost Skaddens £6m a year, will make the New York-based firm one of the largest US practices in London by office space.
