US firm Dorsey & Whitney is to move into Simmons & Simmons’ old offices as part of a drive to quadruple the size of its London office.
The impending move coincides with the news that the firm has hired dual-qualified US and UK lawyer John Basnage from Freshfields as a partner as part of its expansion plans. Dorseys will move into 40,000 sq ft of space at Simmons’ former headquarters in Wilson Street in mid-January.
