Linklaters & Alliance has closed its first major deal for fashion group Burberry, advising on the company’s acquisition of its existing Spanish licensee for £130m.
The deal secures Linklaters a place as lead corporate counsel on Burberry’s panel, which also includes Norton Rose, Paisner & Co, Hammond Suddards and Berwin Leighton.
