Quote of the Week (taken from a Washington Post interview with Martha Barnett, the future president of the American Bar Association, who is making the death penalty her main topic for her year in office):

“There is no universal agreement on the death penalty, but I do believe that there is ALMOST universal agreement that we have zero tolerance for executing people who are INNOCENT.”
Good to know there are at least some people in the US who think executing innocent people should not be tolerated.
