Wragges sets £30,000 pay benchmark

Top regional firms are raising their starting pay for newly-qualified assistants by more than 10%, with Birmingham giant Wragge & Co setting a new benchmark for regional firms of £30,000.

Wragges, which typically pays at the top end of the market for regionally-based lawyers, raised its rate from £27,000 after consulting with legal recruitment consultants QD and ZMB.
