Forsters advised Dunedin Property Fund and Stax Securities on the £22.15m acquisition of a portfolio of industrial, warehouse and office properties in Portsmouth, Croydon, Stevenage and Oldbury from Cayman Islands vendors. Property partners Tony Patterson, Paul Roberts and Martin Halling led the Forsters team, with corporate partner Craig Eadie also advising. Dunedin Property Fund was also advised by Shepherd & Wedderburn, led by corporate partner Andrew Blain. Corporate partner Michael Sears and property partner Howard Jacob of Sears Jacobs advised the vendors.Linklaters & Alliance advised property group MEPC on the phased acquisition of its new office development site at the former Leavesden Aerodrome, near Watford. MEPC, whose total investment at the Leavesden site exceeds £43m, is proposing to build a new office park on the site, with part of it continuing to be used as film production studios. The Linklaters & Alliance team was led by property partner Christopher Coombe, assisted by Andrew Wilmot-Smith on property and Michael Gill on planning. Denton Hall, led by property partner Nick Straw, advised the vendor.
