Jersey firm Mourant du Feu & Jeune has announced plans to become the first British-based offshore firm to set up in London.
The 16-partner firm, based in St Helier, is opening the office to service its existing clients.
The firm intends to hire a partner from a City firm to head the office, although the new recruit will advise solely on Jersey law.
