Macfarlanes acted for Morse Holdings on its intention to list on the LSE. Charles Martin led the team, assisted by Matthew Blows and Robert Boyle. Merrill Lynch, which will be the international sponsor to the listing – one of the largest ever – was represented by Linklaters’ Peter King and Richard Good. The float value of the company, which was bought by a management buy-out team in 1995 for £46m, is expected to be many times that.
