CA Bill Streamlining Insurance Claims Wins Senate Approval
The legislation will help to ensure access to insurance benefits without all of the red tape.
California State Senator Bill Dodd’s proposed insurance legislation passed the Senate this week. The bill, sponsored by California Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara, expands the definition of “additional living expenses” that must be paid to homeowners for losses that are incurred during a state of emergency.
