As lawyers country-wide are continuing to conduct work in isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, state bars and courts have begun to adjust how they handle mandatory continuing legal education (CLE) requirements for lawyers. Some states, including New York and California, have relaxed in-person requirements, so now lawyers in those locations can get most, if not all, of their CLE credits online.
