Florida’s Chief Financial Officer, Jimmy Patronis, has announced a $200,000 workers’ compensation premium fraud arrest in Fort Meyers. The owner of YYCS Enterprises, Inc., for allegedly evading paying workers’ compensation premiums for almost a year. The company is said to have conducted close to $1 million in payroll, but reported $59,000 in payroll on its workers’ compensation policy. The misrepresentation helped the fraudster to avoid paying $199,515 in workers’ compensation premium.
