Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper has appointed nine members to the state’s Title Insurance Commission.  The commission was created in the last legislative session as a result of Senate Bill 15-210.

The commission will serve as an advisory body to Colorado Insurance Commissioner Marguerite Salazar concerning title insurance matters.  The commission’s duties include proposing, advising, and recommending rules for the administration of the business of title insurance, subject to approval by the commissioner.
