The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc., has appointed Richard W. Lavey as president of personal lines. In this role, Mr. Lavey will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s personal lines business, which markets homeowners, automobile, and related insurance coverages to individuals and families. He also will continue to serve as the company’s chief marketing officer, responsible for marketing activities and initiatives across the organization.
